18 Inch Hand Forged Damascus Viking Bearded Axe. Built for bushcraft, camping, and outdoor wood work. The forged Damascus steel head shows a natural layered pattern from pattern-welded steel. The bearded profile gives control for carving and camp tasks. The hardwood handle delivers balance and leverage for chopping and split-start work.

Key Features

• Damascus steel axe head: hand forged, pattern-welded layers with unique grain
• Viking bearded axe profile: extended beard supports controlled carving and shaping
• 18 inch hardwood handle: balanced length for camping and bushcraft use
• Field-ready hatchet size: suited for pack carry and camp processing
• Handmade build: each piece has its own Damascus pattern and wood grain

Use and Handling

The bearded edge helps you choke up near the head for tighter control on kindling, notches, and feather sticks. For a compact camp pair, match this style with the Nordic Camp Hatchet. If you want a heavier camp profile, see the Field Ready Camping Axe. For another bearded option with traditional lines, explore the Traditional Woodsman’s Bearded Axe.
